Axe Fx for my mac

How should I set up Ax8?

I think it depends on how much time you want to put in. Easier: 1 preset per artist that roughly captures the essence of their music. Probably just map pedals to foot switches. Example preset 'Jimi' Harder: 1 preset per song. Probably have scenes per song section toggling on/off groups of...

My AX8 delay and Drive box is always bypassed. Help please?

Do they toggle on? If so toggle on and save (if that is what you want). Might be good to review scenes and how they work. You will always have at least one scene in a preset which remembers which blocks are on and off. Brett Kingman has a helpful video on building a preset on YouTube

Nice setup. I just got my ax8 recently and have been trying to decide if attaching my Strymon pedals is worthwhile. So far just using ax8. Did you try without it and missed it? Also curious how you like the new QSC? I have v1 and wondering how the newer one stacks up.

Is there a way to silently monitor my AX8 on my PC without latency?

I use a small mixer... connect ax8, computer audio outs and headphones. Also good as you can connect other types of audio to it easily
