Quantum 2 IIC+ and Mikko's Darkglass B3K patch

Recorded some preproduction demos for my vocalist to start working on the lyrics. Guitars were the IIC+ Deep with Mikko's Mesa Traditional 4x12 57/421 IR. Bass was Mikko's Darkglass B3K patch. Only post processing was LP/HP on the guitars and bass.

Using firewire interface and Axe Fx USB at the same time on a Mac?

Is there a way to use a firewire interface (Saffire Pro40) and the Axe FX II's USB at simultaneously to record on a Mac? I'm going to record MIDI drums, bass, and vocals through the Saffire and want to record guitar DI's with the Axe FX II. DAW is Studio One 3.

Simulating Mesa 2:90 Deep mode?

Anyone have any ideas on how to simulate the Mesa 2:90 Deep Mode when using the Axe FX 2 and a Matrix power amp? Some of my favorite tones were with a Triaxis and 2:90 with the Deep and Modern modes engaged. Thanks!
