Don't get hung up on the name. If we took one of James' amps and had Cliff model and release it, then it would make sense to call it the Hetfield Amp. Any existing amp could be called the Satriani Amp or Zappa Amp because that is the model they chose. You lucky stiffs have these same models...

Any amp from let's say FW 17 would retain it's build specs but what has changed since then? The advances in the tube modeling and so on now apply to the same amp in the new Quantam environment. You're watching the same movie but now you're wearing 3D glasses. Z

This model is part of our live sound. This amp was removed when the new MKII models were added and firmware updated. I asked if it could be ported for Q3 as I was having a difficult time migrating to the updated firmware and retaining our earlier work.

No other reverbs added. Often, the monitor engineer will mix some of the audience mics into the IEM mixes, especially on outdoor stages. Typically those are shotgun mics located at the front edge of stage right and stage left. He would then have control over that level on a daily basis...

For me, the low-mid "growl" that you get is focused in the 250 Hz area. You'll have to use your ears but I've found that between 1 and 2 on the level is enough to get the effect without getting in the way. It's fairly broad as it affects a wide range of frequencies so 200-250 Hz should do it.

I view the cab sound as an integral part of the sound rather than an FX block to change the "mood" of the guitar sound. I haven't spent any time on the new room verbs yet though. Reverb is difficult in a live setting because it never seems to translate very well in venues that change every...

That is correct. We both send amp sounds individually. Justin blends Kirks amps to the live cabs. I choose to keep them separate in the live cabs to simulate the analogue rigs. I feel like each amp channel and each cabinet reproduce the individual amp tone better on their own. I could easily...
