AX8 control FM3 over midi

I just ordered the FM3 and it is now in the shipping process. Once I get it I plan on hooking up my FX8 via midi to say have 4 channels and 4 toggles for the effects. I'll post what I did to make it happen. Pg#115 has the midi controls that the FM3 needs so I thinking this should all be...

Is there a way to drop tune a 1/2 step?

Great posts! My experience. The tone shifter up/down works great. I agree that is is mainly good for practicing and rapid change. On my MarkV:25 going 1/2 up or down on the FX8 kills the clean "sparkle" and deadens the life of the tone. On the dirty channels it is not very noticeable for my...

FX8 + MkV = Very Pleased

I thought there was a way if you use scenes that you could take out the relay blocks and have the scene send the correct signals to the amp foot switch input. My understanding in you would need a mono Y cable on the FX8 to TRS on the amp side. Plz correct me if I am wrong. I have the FX8 on...

New to the family...

Welcome!!! I cam from line 6 as well. The Axe I have to say is way better. The good news is you go and get some $10 midi cables and make the hd500 your pedal board until you can get a MFC. There are some posts on it they are pretty easy to setup!! GL and welcome.

AFX with amp - 4CM - VERY noisey
