    Any news of what is on the horizon?

    Not about the axefx unit but regarding pedalboards, it'd be nice to see a pedalboard that has a couple integrated expression pedals. I've used an Art ultrafoot which cost me $60 used, has 2 expression pedals built into it and love it.

    You need to get the correct or closest amp model to the tone you are seeking and add the correct (closest) gain pedal if neccessary. It's hit or miss I've found but it can be really accurate. I find chasing down a very complicated hi-gain tone with pedals in the chain (like say Randy Rhodes) can...

    Anyone successfully emulate a double tracked guitar?

    ^ Actually the Beatles and G Martin did quite a bit of fake vocal doubling that sounded very thick in the 60's but yeah, best way with guitar is to record actual seperate tracks which sound huger due to non-symetrical variances in pitch, for one.

    So is anybody actually using the Axe II with bass? Clips?

    I've actually stopped using my Bass POD altogether in favor of the AxeFXII, There are several great amp models that work well besides the SV Bass model, also the tube pre helps drive some of those models very well.
