    Awesome! I find the Axefx matches the real 100P very closely! The axe pushes the red and blue mode frequencies MORE than what the amp does, but I kinda like that. It shows off what they actually do (Purple 2 is blue, Purple 3 is red).

    I recently made a patch with this since my friend got a sig X and it sounded amazing. The key for me to get it to sound good with high gain was using the klon of all things. Its really good. I really wish we could get the UL or even the Pitbull. More fryette the better.

    It should somewhat translate as long as you get the tonematched IR from axechange. Going to have to tweak to fit your rig as with any patch but you will get in the realm of it.

    output eq I almost always pull down the low mids/ around 500hz to get some of the mud out. Best way is to pull TOO MUCH out until it sounds thin and then slowly put some back in. It helps get the mud mids out. I sometimes will also cut 8k if I find its too harsh.

    Two options: Buy an Axe Fx 1 and 3 so you have a IV. OR get 2 IIs to have a 4. This is the best way to get an Axe fx IV.

    I'm running my X88IR into the In on output 4 on the back of the axe. X88IR has power amp modeling off the XLR jack on the back. Split 3 is running to input on front of axe fx. For my x88IR patches, they run to out 1, which is hooked to SPDIF on my interface. Hope that helps.

    This is true, but I find the SLO100 you have to move the knobs MORE than any other amp. The Revv Gen 120 for example (I have a 100R amp IRL) is very close to the real amp in the axe. The SLO is just really hard to capture correctly in any instance imo.

    Use the x88 instead. I find its easier to get closer to the tone you are looking for. The Soldano is a very hard amp to model correctly so your values in the axe fx will be different from the real amp.

    They were kinda all over the place but they recently made them based off the "later BE" is all is says in the wiki. I know that the 2010 is based off the Marsha amp, Dave's first "BE" before Marshall got made and made him change the name. So the Brown eye name is kinda calling Marshall A holes lol

    People have had good lucky with Pelican cases before. OR if you send it in a box, use form and bubble wrap and back the ever living crap out of it. I had a bad case with my friends iMac a few years ago and it scared me, so now I pack my stuff better than big online music sellers when I ship.

    I run my tube amps into the xload and then go xload into my axe fx III. It sounds great. The BE100 is a great amp to want to get. As long as you only get 2 or 3 really good amps you should be ok. Running them through the axe also makes recording super easy, for me at least.

    Go into the amp block and go to the Output EQ. Pull down 500 and 250 hz. Go from there. That usually helps out my patches a lot.

    Funny you should say that, because now that I had a chance to dive into, it kinda is mine too now lol. This thing is really awesome, and the tight switch on it is awesome. It boost, can get rid of unwanted lowend, and you can add LMH into your tone if you want. Its a awesome pedal!

    It ships with EL34s as the Rev A ships with 6L6s. It is just a little different. You honestly could get those sounds in the axe fx if you tried really hard but it really isnt THAT different from the Rev A.
