X-LOAD LB-2 Reactive Load Box now available

I’m currently using my amp > suhr reactive load > amt pangaea cp-100fx-s IR loader. The fractal lb-2 could replace my suhr reactive load or I could get the OX and get rid of both units. I would use it for both live and recording.

Hardware IR Loader

I also hope that this happens in the near future! The next product they are coming out is their own reactive load that is supposedly better than the Suhr Reactive Load. Maybe the next thing will be an AxeFx IR loader device! I currently use an AMT Pangaea CP-100FX to load IRs when I am using my...

Hardware IR Loader

Mooer radar’s sample rate is 44.1. Not as high as axefx. I doubt it can handle UltraRes length files.

I got some answers: OH1: sm57 + r121 OH2: MD421 + r121 SP2: sm57 + r121 + back of cab mic JS: UMT70S + r121 Hope that helps some people.

I believe the mics used in the mixes are the following; OH1: sm57 + r121 OH2: 421 + r121 OH3: a mix of both? Can anybody explain what the SP2 and JS mixes use for mics?

I'm really enjoying the VXT library. The '63 Blue speaker is much darker than the Blue speaker in the VX30 library. Very vintage sounding. I like using the '63 Blue speaker (darker) for my single coil guitars and the Gold speaker (brighter) for my humbucker guitars.

OwnHammer V4 Impulse Response Libraries

I just downloaded the 212-VXT library, and I am really enjoying the JS mixes. I usually use SP2 mixes, but his mix works better for this Vox cab. Are you able to add the JS mixes in the other V4 libraries? Also, what mics are being used in the SP2 and JS mixes? Thanks!

Did anybody notice that there are new Ownhammer IRs available on the website? Were these unannounced? I just downloaded the Bogner 212 with Alnico Gold and Silver and these are the best Vox style cab/speakers I've heard! I'm looking forward to hearing the Super Reverb 4x10 cab and some other...

Hey Kevin, Is there any difference between the 412 MAR-CB mixes in the Multi-Cabinet Collection vs the Multi-Mic Collection? I just tried the OH 412 MAR-CB SPKR-MIX SP2 vs the OH MAR-CB M25-MIX PO-Fat-03 IRs and they sound pretty close to me.

BigBox librarys OUT NOW!

I bought the silver pack and used the MIX IR's. Spent about 3 hours trying out different speakers and mic mixes, and I came to the conclusion that the Ownhammer V3 mixes were smoother and easier to use. IMO Ownhammer IRs are still better.

Wow... So I have all the Ownhammer Alnico Blue and Silver IRs, Torpedo CAB 212 Vox IRs, and the Axe-FX 2014 Germany IR is probably my favorite AC30 type IR that I have tried! I am really blown away!

I just purchased the Ownhammer Alnico Blue IR (Mid Gain), and I was wondering what everybody's favorite settings were for this speaker. I'm using this speaker to try to get a dirty AC30 sound. Which power amp do you like the best? SLST, EL34, 5881? Individual Mics or Mixes? Studio or Live...

Drum IRs

Since cabinet IRs are available for guitar, does anybody if anybody makes a device for drums that captures impluse responses of drums? I think it woukd be a really cool idea if this device could capture different snares, kick drums etc. does anybody know if this device exist?

Two notes cab sims

I use a Kingsley Squire tube preamp into a Torpedo CAB + Ownhammer IRs, and it sounds really amazing! The great thing is that everything is small enough to put on my pedalboard.

I just recently found out about OwnHammer IRs and from what I've heard on YouTube, they sound really amazing. I don't plan on getting all the sets, so if you had to choose between the 112 or 212 set which one would you pick? I don't really play any hard rock or metal, so the 412 doesn't seem...
