Im on the same page with the colour choice. Albert Lee HH model just recently grown on me and I wish I could get one in a different colour like that limited red for GC few years back. Or Silo with birdeye neck... they just dont care much for this model any more.

As far as I know this pedal is based on old TC Electronic integrated preamp. I cant post links but schematics are out there. Not sure how close TC is to Fortin. It can be as close as direct copy or quite a few part values off.

There's an error in Premier Guitar quote. Boss OD-1 is nothing like TS9/808 schematic-wise. In fact there's two main OD-1 circuits out there one with quad op-amp and one with single dual op-amp. Boss SD-1 is very much like TS9/808 schematic-wise with main difference in clipping stage

Brit silver issue?

I don't know if it matters but there was at least two slightly different Jubs back in the day (most deferentially 4 versions according to my speculations and data collected). Differences are in rhythm clipping circuitry, tonestack, fx-loop and transformers. Some had plate cap on V1a some didn't...

Line 6 Helix Reviews Are Starting to Appear...

If Axe Fx does what it said it does then it is worth the asking price IMO. But before I put the trigger on one I really have to have one to one ride with it Line6? No, thank you - I was fooled with realism claims way to often. Fancy panel and advanced edit options wont work on buying me
