Dedicated Laptop for Axe-Edit

I got a Acer AO756 11.6" Windows 8 Laptop from walmart for under $200. The Processor is Zippy enough to multitask (play backing tracks, Edit sheet music scores, run Reaper and Youtube) while still running the Axe Editor. Battery life is pretty damn good despite reviews. Ive upgraded to 8gigs of...

My guthrie govan/fusion lead preset

Been working on his tones since I got my Axe also, cant wait to give this a try. I must say that recreating his Guyatone WR has had to be one of my greatest achievments. Govan Rocks!

Wait what? .syx isnt the extension for blocks anymore? So my old syx wont work on new preset builds? Must have missed that in the update description....

Some scenes forget programming

well, im both glad...and sad to hear it isnt just me. Hopefully its resolved in a later firmware. I eventually plan on upgrading to the MCF101 but until then, the scene feature is useless to me. It doesnt just happen with Wah, its random. Some presets...its reverb...differant presets it is other...

Some scenes forget programming

Ive tried it with and without AE and i dont use a MFC. Ive tried Scene Revert both ways and still no luck. Ill look into the IA's global setting and that may shed some light on it. thanks, at least i know im not the only one.

(AF2, FW10) Im sure its just me...or something im not doing correctly but... when I program a preset, and the subsequent scenes...they seem to decide for themselves what FX block will work and what will not. Example: I program Preset 1 Scene 1 to have a Comp, Wah (off), Dist, Amp, Cab...

Peak Midi Footcontroller?

I have the Peak FCB8 and i can use scenes. i program in 12pr mode. Unfortunatly it only lets me use 4 scenes (the way i have it programmed)...just because i find it convenient. So row 1, IA 1 is a preset...and ia 2,3,and 4 are scenes. Next row up on the board is IA's 5-8 and IA 5 is set to...
