Cab Pack Sale?

Do cab packs ever go on sale for a discounted price say for black friday? I want to buy a handful of packs but am not sure if they ever go on sale as I would be stuck waiting till thanksgiving or whenever they do if they do?

Back again, so the axe fx outputs at line level then correct? I'm trying to hook it up to my presonus firepod while bypassing the pre's on it. But now I just realized both have s/pdif so I might just go ahead and connect them together that way.

That's what I figured above, that it was the same as just having xlr connections at each end. Nothing really gained except different connector as you said. Maybe I was just over thinking all of this. Also to clarify, correct me if I'm wrong. TS cabling is for mono and unbalanced sources? and...

oh alright, well that's great to know! I was only planning on running roughly 6ft of cable. I assumed that there might have been a slight advantage of using balanced over unbalanced or vice versa. Thanks!
