Solo boost: Filter or Volume Pedal?

OK so I have been using filters in scenes for solo boost in the past which i find can be a pain but it does work. Now I think I might try a Mission volume pedal the VM 1 I think it is, to just increase overall output volume during a solo and then back it down to my needed/typical rhythm volume...

EtherCon RJ45 Connector Plug?

Just so I have this straight. In order to use the EtherCon cable with the MFC 101, I will need an RJ45 connector plug correct? If so, those of you who use an EtherCon cable did you get those connector plugs at Radio Shack or what? Thanks...

Mission EP1 Spring Load straight into the Axe Fx...need help.

OK I need a hand here....Chris's video only really shows the Mission pedal when using an MFC. Since I'm still on that waiting list, I just got a spring loaded Mission EP1 and I'm trying to use the pedal jack on the back of the Axe FX and I want the wah effect to auto-engage in a given preset...

What will the MFC MK III ship with?

I have read through the new MFC MK III manual and I don't see that it ships with any cables. I guess a standard Ethernet cable works and the EtherCon is recommended which can be bought online. So, what specifically is different about the EtherCon? For the Mark III is looks like we will need to...

Understanding the effects Bypass setting....

I've see a few places where this is briefly mentioned online, but I was hoping to better understand the purpose of the Bypass setting that each effect in the Axe II has i.e. Mute, Thru, Mute FX Out/In etc. I roll through the different settings in various presets I have created and do not notice...

Axe FX II and the Ernie Ball Volume JR

I was curious if any Axe II users here are using the EB Volume Jr with their MFC? Is it possible to use the Volume Jr as an expression pedal or just as its intended volume control? I know Mission pedals are the way to go but I am trying to decide how much I really need one. Thx!

Using more than one computer for Axe Edit?

Basic question here but I am wondering if there would be any issues with the Axe FX and my presets when using my PC at home with Win7 and then using a Laptop when I'm not home, (with Vista) to work on my presets in Axe Edit?. Anyone on the forum using different computers with the same Axe Fx unit?

A word to the wise concerning the Axe FX USB port!

A couple of months ago we had some nasty lightening here in NW Florida and my house got zapped. I had all my electronics shut down, surge protectors in place, my Axe Fx is plugged into a Fruman PC etc. I thought all should be fine, however because the power cord was still plugged into my 52"...

Basic Axe Edit 3.0 help?

Is there anyone on the forum here who wouldn't mind filling me in on how to use the Block Library and Global Blocks features when creating and tweaking presets etc? The axe edit manual was a bit vague on this for me. Thanks!
