gaps between patches when using scenes?

I wondered if somebody could help as I have noticed recently that when I change between scenes there is an audio gap as the patch is changing. I was under the impression that changing between scenes should be unnoticable?

Newbie question about MFC - SP1 -Ep1

With the spring loaded EP1 set up a wah in the chain and then edit it. Go to the volume control of the wah and press enter. Assign it to exp 3. Then scroll down that list and make sure you set auto engage to fast. You shouldn't have to worry about setting a bypass switch as the wah will engage...

Yeah, that was the solution thanks. I deleted the volume block and they work fine. My only problem now is trying to dial in the EQ to my FR's so it doesn't sound so harsh? They sound great through headphones but very synthetic in the cabs?

How do you set it so the wah isnt engaged until you step on the SP1? I am trying it now and I can instantly hear that the wah is on. If the sound was unaltered until I stepped on the pedal that would be ok :)

I had a bit of a brainwave the other day... Use the usb port to power a usb light (like you would use on a pc) and it will be ideal for lighting up your set list on a dark stage. :)
