Yes, if i understand you correctly, you can see from axe edit what you have dialed manually via the front panel. I am not sure about your second question, but a preset for live use has to be dialed in at the volume you expect to use it, to avoid EQ problems.

Axe Fx Ultra Help with Set Up

Yes, midi out from the m-audio into midi in of the axe, midi out from the axe into midi in of the m-audio (2 midi cables). Also select axe fx as "source" in axe edit. Hope it helps.

Well, i like it. I understand it can be boring to listen to it, but i would enjoy a lot if i could play that. Sometimes quantity has a quality of its own, even if it is only for the technical prowess side of the thing.
