Trying to nail closure in moscow tone

So lately I've been trying to nail closure in Moscow's rhythm guitar tone and it's driving me nuts. Any advice on where to start? I think they use budda superdrive heads but I could be mistaken. Here's a link with the tone I'm trying to go for. Any tips on amps/cabs/drive pedals/eq/anything else...

Tone matching attempts sounding muffled/crappy

Need help tone matching (clean/semi-dirty)

I've been working forever on trying to nail the intro tone of all new materials from the periphery album and I just can't get anywhere near to nailing the damn thing. I'd really appreciate it if someone could assist in achieving this tone with me :)

Help with dialing in clean/semi dirty tone
