I love Fryette/VHT amps. The D60M model sounds pretty good to me.

Lie To Me - looking for feedback on dynamics and balance

Hi everyone, A few years ago I was in a band called Straw Man Complex. It was a heavy rock/not quite metal band that wrote radio-friendly songs. We had a lot of fun, and I recently moved back in with my singer from those days. For poops and giggles, we've started writing again and I'm...

Digital distortion on Pro Tools playback using Axe-FX as interface

When using the Axe-FX as a USB audio interface for Pro Tools, the session playback from Pro Tools starts to pick up digital distortion. The onset of the problem is not immediate, and seems to become worse if I play my guitar through the Axe during playback from Pro Tools. One the distortion...

I don't understand why there are almost no stereo amp heads.

I would really love to have an amp with some great tone and personality in the preamp but have a stereo power amp. Why does it have to cost an arm and a leg? I can only think of the Diezel VH4S. I don't get it! Every friggin' effects unit under the sun has a stereo output. I don't get what...

Fishing for a buyer, drooling for the Axe, anxiously waiting.

I first heard about the Axe-FX in late 2008 when I was amp shopping but didn't pay much mind as my last amp was a Vetta and I wanted to move away from modeling. I picked up a Pittbull (just before the Fryette name change) because I was going to be touring for a brief stint and needed a loud...
