8 string pickups? EMG or new Dimarzio???

Im having a custom 8 string made by a local luthier and i'm having trouble deciding on the pickups. EMG 808x or the new dimarzio 8 string pickups. any advice. im really looking for the most even tone possible. mainly focused on my clean tone as this isnt really going to be a "metal" 8 string...

are they the same??? i just got a k12 and i was experimenting with sending out1 to one input on the k12 and out2 to the other input on the k12. it seems like output 2 is lower. is this correct or is something else going on. im using copy L-->R and Copy out1-->out2. i would think the levels...

ive ordered a peavey pv115 (witch is rated at 400watts) as a simple solution to use as a FR alternative to my mesa 4x12 depending on my mood. 2 questions: can i run this with the art sla2 in bridged even though its more wattage? and will this speaker compete volume wise with the mesa...

Midibuddy adaptor issues PLS HELP!!!

ok, heres the story. i got a rolls midibuddy and found out that the tip doesnt fit into the phantom jack on the axe fx. went to radio shack to get a universal adaptor and they DO have a 12v adaptor with all the tips i need BUT its 300mA. The rolls adapter that came with the midibuddy says 200mA...
