Need some help with a self oscillating delay

Yeah that is pretty close to what I'm looking for! Thank you for that :) I've managed to do a similar thing with the help of simeon with the synth block as stated above. The thing is it is too clean and kind predictable, if you get what I mean, unlike this pedal that seems really out of control...

Need some help with a self oscillating delay

I'll see if I can come up with something, the synth block definitely helps a lot. I've added a modifier to the Rate parameter in the LFO1 and that gets me pretty close to the speeding up sound that's going on there. Thank you so much for taking your time to help me with this! :)

Sorry my bad, I forgot that I was on FW 15 :) I'll update tonight, I really want to try out the new reverbs! I found another video (haha): Crobot - BTR Live Studio [ep309] - YouTube but at 5.20 he seems to be tweaking a pedal called "The church burner". My guess is that it's a modded or...

Need some help with a self oscillating delay

Hi there Simeon! Thank you for your input :) It might very well be a synth, here's a live video of them and he seems to be doing something on his pedalboard at 0.40. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNzzvfVKaEc Hmm... I can't seem to open your preset, it's just an empty preset here. Could...

Need some help with a self oscillating delay

Hey there folks! I've been trying to figure out a way to do this kind of effect: You can hear it at 0.40 and at 1.22 (actually it is all over the place in that song) I've managed to do a similar thing (I've attached an axe edit block for the Axe FX II XL), but it still doesn't...

    Popping Noise?

I was in contact with Universal Audio about this. I even got my unit changed, unfortunately the problem was still there even with the new one. So right now I'm trying to narrow everything down. We came to the conclusion that it wasn't a buffer related issue - since changing the buffer size...

    Popping Noise?

Hmm, kind of sounds like this: https://soundcloud.com/sockpuppet123/pops-clicks-uad-apollo-duo I've been going mad for the last couple of days with my new Apollo Twin thinking it might be it causing the pops/clicks. Might have to reconsider this since you seem to have the same problem.

    Volume Reduction during gigs.

That takes the power amp out of the equation at least! Also, make sure to check your presets. Sometimes it is really easy to miss the simple stuff, like accidentally assigned global blocks (although this is indicated on the front panel) or that a scene or a block has maybe -4dB instead of +4dB...

    Volume Reduction during gigs.

AFX with amp - 4CM - VERY noisey

What model of the Axe FX do you have? There was a mod that could be done to the output. I can't remember if this mod was standard on the Mk 2, but my Mk 1 did not have it. Just finished mixing SUPERMAN!

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it! :) This was all done with FW 14, now that I've installed 15.02 I kind of wish I recorded the DI's as well for re-amping. (my thought process at the time was, the axe fx can't possibly sound any better than this... I was wrong)

Hey y'all! This is has nothing to do with the Clark Kent here on the forum. :) The song is actually called Superman by my band Bohemian Lifestyle. Super simple preset, Plexi 100W+Custom IR of a Marshall 1960B. Even the organ is routed back through the Axe FX into the Tube Pre...

    Switching amp channels

No problem, just glad I can help a fellow guitarist :) Well you can ditch the EVH pedal completely with this setup, basically what you do is program the axe fx to send MIDI data so that the amp gizmo knows what it should do (ie. change channels) So your mfc is now controlling the the EVH's...

I know all of this sounds confusing (The axe fx can be a tricky thing to work with sometimes, given all the options) - but in short terms your solution is the RJM Amp Gizmo (or something equivalent) and Scenes within the Axe FX.

Well you're going to have the same problem using the FX8 in that way. Your loop stays on at all times, but you're controlling all the effects from the Axe FX - The easiest way to do this is using scenes. Scenario here is as you described: Channel 1 uses clean with reverb and delay--> You...

New Mix For Solo Album (Dragged by the Reaper intro)

Low-end sounds good man! :) (Don't know how much my opinion counts since I'm listening through my Sennheiser HD650, will take another listen through my monitors later) love the 0.47 part! FAS Modern II sounds good here! I would suggest playing around with 4kHz:ish on the snare - you're getting...

Alter Bridge - Come To Life (Mark Tremonti Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier)

Thank you for your input Clark Kent :) I'll try that and see what I can come up with. By the way, when you tone match, should you still have the drive block enabled?

Alter Bridge - Come To Life (Mark Tremonti Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier)

Thank you Ole! :) I love them in combination with the '57 Classic, and it just suits this guitar perfectly. The burstbucker is great for heaver rock and when you want to cut through the mix with that extra punch, while the '57 brings you back to a more vintage/blues kind of sound. You should...

    7 string pickups

Just got an email from BKP saying they released a "soapbar"-style 7-string pickup :) They are pricey, yes - but you get what you pay for. On the other hand, the most expensive and "best sounding"-pickup isn't always the ideal choice. It all comes down to what sounds good to your ears and suits...

Best expression pedal to MFC-101/AXE-FX2 ?

Cool! I was actually looking into that a couple of days ago. Found a great guide here: Liquid-Foot Jr. - MISC: Boss FV500 Modification But I still prefer the SP-1 for wah. Only because it looks and kind of feels like a cry-baby. But a spring and toe-switch mod on the boss would be a great...
