They sure do! I've be on eBay for almost 20 years with almost 2,000 transactions and 100% feedback. A buyer bought an expensive item from me, broke it and then claimed it was broke when he got it. PayPal sided with him and forced me to accept the return and told me they would be taking the...

    Marshall Super Bass

Thanks for this post! I added more negative feedback and really like the results. Was at 6.6 for the Super Lead. Now it's at 9.0. The tone is coming around!

    Marshall Super Bass

Thanks AustinBuddy. Pretty much what I have set up now. Going to try different tubes. Preamp and power. Going to try the biasing as well. Was wondering if there were any transformer tweaks that would be worth trying?

    Marshall Super Bass

Hard to tone match an amp when you don't own it. Don't want to even try a match from a mp3. Testing to see if the model sounds the same as the real thing.

At this point I'm really not sure of what I want/need. Marshall Super Bass

Ok. This has been discussed somewhat before, but I still have a few questions. I am trying to replicate Malcolm Young's Marshall Super Bass. Took the 100W Super Lead Treble and changed the tone stack to the JTM45 tone stack and set the frequency to 750hz. Tried a few published knob settings...

Tone Vise locking nut - Amazing, Simple and Cheap

I hear alot about Floyd Rose terms not staying in tune. Most all my guitars have them. They are full floating and I never have any problem with them once the strings settle in. Always in tune and intimated. But, they are all German made real Floys Rose trems. I think that is the difference...

Axe-Fx III Firmware Version 11.00 Public Beta

I haven't loaded this firmware yet, but my thought is I would like the new curves vs. the old ones and would not need to revert back to an old preset. For me, I would not see a use for the Null curve.

  21. rtcook

Axe-Fx III Firmware Version 11.00 Public Beta

This is what I was thinking. Original preset would have the old curve. When you switch between 2x12 Vox 30 and Null, the original curve is lost.
  22. rtcook

Axe-Fx III Firmware Version 11.00 Public Beta

Is it correct to say if you change an old preset to a new one using the new curves you can't revert it back unless you previously saved the original preset? Wanted to be clear on this as I plan to back up my current presets and then try the curves. If for some reason I do like the curves...

    I believe we've found Buddy Holly's missing '54 Stratocaster.

Very interesting, but looking at still pics on the internet of Buddy Holly playing the guitar, the pickup up wear on the bottom of the neck and middle pickups does not look the same to me. Damage looks bigger then than now and shaped differently. Just my observation.

    Wish - Scrolling Scribble Name

Right now we only have one field for the preset label which is also used by the scribble strip. Making it toggle scrollable for some various options would help or a second field the length of the scribble strip to have a secondary shortened preset name for the FC. Thoughts?

    Axe-Fx III Firmware Version 3.02

I hear the one to have is the original vintage TS808 from the 80's. That would be the one to model. I guess the circuitry changed over the model number changes and most like the original.

Here's some scribble name magnifyers I made from info I found on here. I used 2X power 1" bar magnifier stock and cut to 2" long. Added 1/4" roll magnetic strips and polished the ends. They stick firmly to the FC. Might not be for everyone, but they help me out. Roger
