Fryette D60 II: normal/bright voicing?

Fryette D60 models on Fractal are not great , dark , boomy . I have never manage to mimmic my Deliverance Synergy module , and i tried ...
Sorry for Normal / Bright voicing , i don t have the answer .

My only experience with anything Fryette/VHT is the Pitbull, which I haven't been able to duplicate in this, but I've gotten some really great sounds from the D60 More. The Bright switch (in almost every amp that has it) adds a bit of noise in my setup, but I can't not use it, especially in this amp. I've only used it for heavy rhythm guitar, but I've been using it on occasion in place of my normal Herbie. If the Herbie disappeared... I could live with the D60 for a bit lol That fucker has got some BALLS!!!

Absolute crazy talk. Ive used this model since AxeFX 1, after 10 years I bought a pair of VHT D60s, the model sounds great. Its all about the IR.

I don t know if the synergy preamp is accurate (never tried the real amp) , i always used it in 4cm with fm9 (power amp and ir from fm9). What i know is the Synergy preamp sound way better , easy to dial in than the modeling one . Not true for the others Synergy préamp , SLO , Ecstasy etc , easy to mimic with fm9

the d60 sounds great on my setup it's currently my favorite amp next to usa lead mid gain and the jp2c

I also tried this amplifier, it is one of my favorites and now I really want other amplifiers from Fryette to appear, especially the VHT Pitbull Ultralead.
Deliverance, like any Fryette amp, has its own sound that can be too dry, but unlike a real amp, it does not have a gift from Clif - additional settings. By twisting them without even understanding it, you can somewhat change its character. A great field for experimentation. There is a comparison of Ultralead and Deliverance and maybe someone, hearing this difference and turning additional settings, will be able to get closer to the sound of Ultralead.
I created a request to add a VHT Valvulator GP3 along with a circuit that I took from a person who repaired thirteen Valvulator GP3s and more than a hundred ada mp-1s ahahaha. Essentially the GP3 is an Ultralead preamplifier - https://forum.fractalaudio.com/thre...ull-ultralead-preamp-circuit-included.218916/

This is the impulse I play on in Deliverance, it suits him.

I remember scouring eBay since the mid-2000s trying to buy a VHT d60/d120 Mark I head.
Back then, the VHT website had excellent sound samples played on various guitars,
and I used to visit daily just to listen to those samples.

After a couple of failed eBay bids, I never actually got to own one.
Then, around 2013, I went to a gig where another heavy metal guitarist brought his D60 Mark 1, and all the bands performing that day, including mine, ended up sharing it.

(I later had the chance to perform with that band twice more,
so I got to use it again.)

A few years ago, when Paul Bradshaw did content matching Fractal's D60 modeling to his actual d60 amps,
I watched with interest.
I downloaded his matched presets, adjusted them to my taste and old memories, and recorded some samples.

I remember using "Cliff's AITR tip (without cab block)" created with filter and geq,
as I wasn't satisfied with some of the IRs I had tried matching.
I believe this approach allowed me to get closer to the character of the D60 amp I remembered.
