Video of THIS EXACT GUITAR - SERIAL NUMBERS MATCH from Musician's Friend in Jan 2015:

Initial impression is OMG, my new favorite guitar! It is in absolutely perfect, like new condition and plays great out of the box. I could not be more excited or happier about this score!!!

The store that was selling it said in the ad "We don't call anything Mint, but this is about as Minty as one could expect an 11-year-old guitar to be!". I hate it when people use the word "Mint", but it could have been used for this one! Absolutely flawless ;~)) All orig paperwork, truss rod tool, case lock, etc. Everything that came with it new. They had said it was from a collector who did not play it and now that it is in hand, I believe it 100% (I did have my doubts).

Ordered it Tuesday morning, delivered to me Thursday afternoon!

That's a real beauty! It's the first time that I see and hear about this model. Congratulation!
Thanks. They only made them from 2011 - 2014. Word is that they stopped making them in the core line, like acoustics, because they could not do it at a reasonable price/profit margin. That is why with acoustics nowadays, it is either SE line (<$1500) or Private Stock (>$10,000). Lovin' it, plays great, sounds great, looks great ;~)) The other "jazz box" model I would like to own eventually from them is the SC-J. It is pretty similar but usually has a wooden tailpiece. You can still order a JA-15 from private stock if you want to spend 5 figures.

Well, I ordered several years ago a Jazz guitar from a Japanese luthier, which was custom made, but still much cheaper than Private Stock.
Your purchase reminded me, that I should play it more often...

That is one great find. I remember when these came out. I lusted over them, but at the time (beside price) I was more interested in a solid body. That is a perfect specimen. I was bummed when they discontinued the line. Congrats!!👍
