NAMM 2026

no __ as it would cannibialize ___
Fractal Audio Systems is not run by bean counters. The company makes products that Cliff and the rest of us would love to use, and we hope our customers do too. So far so good. The CEO is literally the sole creator of the "crown jewels" IP. Success has been driven by the thrill of technical and creative innovation and achievement. When that's done right, everything else takes care of itself.

AM1/2 confirmed :cool::p

I'm just cranky about the term "cannibalize" since some people (mostly on Social media) are fallaciously concluding that the AM4 and VP4 were artificially crimped so as to stand apart from each other. They weren't. Each has a specific role/design intent and was pushed to the limits of its onboard tech in order to serve its intended purpose.

Well neural dsp definitely wasn’t sleeping

They've been sleeping and promising stuff for years that no one has seen yet...

They basically just put out a ipad with 4 footswitches

AS far as I'm concern, NDSP can build whatever they want. As long as their AC30 and Treble Booster models are as of now - I'm not even remotely consider it. Been there, no thank you.

It should be 8AM at NAMM now. Can’t wait for the new product. Maybe it’s an FM6. Maybe it’s a floor modeller with power amp built-in, a PM9.

I live in the area (about 5 miles form the convention center but I'm not going to the show (been going since the mid 1980's and I have no actual business this year). Wouldn't mind catching a meetup if there are any in the area, though. For once I don't have a gig on this weekend.
Next year for sure... this time I took a year off after so many NAMM....

Come on FAS - We are your loyal customers. Give us the news a few minutes before telling the rest of the world, so we can spread the news to our family and friends...
Usually this is exactly what happens: the FAS Forum is the first place where new product (not speculation) lands ;)
