How to achieve a more enjoyable headphone experience?

There's a lot of great info in this thread.

I've found that when I have a truly good sound going... my cheapest headphones sound great and inspiring. So much so that I use them to check my tones.

I remember years of having what I thought was a good sound, and suffering in IEM. It was me.

Listen to your favorites recordings in phones. Does it sound terrible?

Load it up in the IR Player block; one for each side if you're running in stereo. It's obviously not going to give you the in-the-room sound but it will make what you hear more neutral.

Ok, I’m a believer. The Ollo X1 delivers. They sound great without any EQ correction, and translate well to my Adam Audio monitor setup.

Next week we’ll see how well they translate to my FRFRs.

I’m happy I got them.

I have the Ollo S4x's and love them. Previous Blue MoFi user, but I couldn't replace the parts anymore.
For a better headphone experience I like to blend in some room IR's, preferable stereo, but it looks like the AM4 only has 2 cab slots. I'd find your favorite IR mix for the first slot and use one of these for some room in the second. Or just use the Left and Right room in the attachment and pan them.
