Looking for a PIN Wiring Diagram to see if I can quickly make a short FasLink II Male Canon to Male 9VDC center Negative Jack ?

Am just looking to power my MC6 MK 2 Midi FSW Controller so have emailed them to see if it is safe to run it at 12v instead of 9v.

If it can, I can just solder a cable from the XLR Male to 9v Male and should all work fine (?)

I honestly don’t feel comfortable giving you advice on how to wire that up. I don’t want to be responsible for burning up your PCB.

I followed the tips in the two posts mentioned. I also checked the faslink port with a multimeter before soldering up my connection.

If you do as you suggest you’ll and wire to be 12v there will be electrical hum. Which is what I did originally.

However, this operates at 9v. Rather than solder a solution into the xlr plug I used this to get from 12v to 9v

I don't include a wiring diagram but the plug includes a dc to dc voltage regulator. I used whatever I had on hand but it would be similar to this:

What I actually used was an LM317 which is adjustable. You don't really need adjustability so the one in the above post might be easier. I think you can wire that one up with fewer components as well (two capacitors instead of four), making it easer to fit into a plug. It's a cram in any case...
