Greg Kubacki from Car Bomb

I know nothing, other than knowing what he does is awesome. I've heard that the United Nations banned Car Bomb, Meshuggah, and DEP from simultaneously touring together to prevent a worldwide rhythmically induced seize-demic.

I'd love to know what's going on with all those ray gun sounds. Whammy'd harmonics and some kind of filter sweep? It's hard to figure out where to even start.

also, the documentary these guys did is absolutely worth watching for any of you guys who spent a lot of time bashing it out in backyard shows

Greg uses a lot of Pitch, Ring Mod, Boss PS-3 and some other things.

On Scattered Sprites.. this is what I'm thinking. Just an educated guess here....

0:18 pitch down
0:26 blending in ring mod
1:41 pitch down + ring mod
1:59 pitch down + ring mod + Boss PS3 (not sure..)
2:26 pitch up + ring mod
2:47 boss PS-3

Check out the the YouTube channel "John Mor". He has the best (maybe only) videos on Greg's tones/setup that I have found.
