USB B to C

Hey Everyone!

Quick technical question here: just got my axe 3 today (and, woah, is it glorious) and am wondering if any of you have used a USB B to C cable--no adapter--to connect and use the axe as your main interface and if you've had any issues.

My USB A slots are mostly taken up. I can get by with using a hub, but I'd much rather have a dedicated USB C slot for it on my Mac Mini. I'm pretty sure the connector type won't affect functionality but you never know how something is gonna react using the latest Apple OS..

I figured it'd be all set, but I wanted to double check before ordering something I'd just end up having to return. So far the axe 3 has only been convenient concerning the little things like this. Goes a long way for sure
 
using a 6 foot one I got from mono price. the USB C/Thunderbird ports on my MacBook are a little flakey, but that's not the fault of the cable or Axe
