Old song, and no guitar (nothing but a capella voice and a vocorder), but this has been a favorite for about 10 years. Very creative harmonies, IMO.

I've only ever heard that song in the movie and I have always heard the lyrics as "Big city, downtown" not "Beat city now now". LOL.

Here's one of about 20 tunes I had to learn on bass last Saturday for a sub gig that night. I never heard of these guys before - lots of cool swampy roots rock.

Pretty sure it's her. Something about Imogen's voice that checks all the boxes for me. I have a couple of her solo albums, as well as the one she and Guy Sigsworth did as the "band" Frou Frou. I like to listen to music styles that I don't play, and hers is definitely one of them.
