    Thank you for the response! I made a new preset-Input 1 to Output 2, no blocks in between. Output 2 to the input of my Mesa JP2C. I didn't get far enough to use the send and return of the amp's fx loop.

    Thanks Pauly I essentially approach the initial setup the same way, but I go to my spec and then make minor changes to account for the idiosyncrasies of the instrument. You are right that they are trying to cover their poopers.
