It's Been Three Months Today...

I was literally going to post "all quiet on FW front". Honestly I would prefer less frequent updates and no more changing of base amp sounds. The Axe FX II is pretty darn mature and if they leave the FW more stable I can finally program more than two or three patches! I had 40 at one point...

Revpad with Axe-Fx?

Saw them at NAMM and said the same thing. If it could control axe, helix, strymons etc would be cooler than using only their effects. I got blank stare and "it has effects", sort of like "but it goes to eleven".

They would fail every few months. Much better off with seagate. Once you short stroked them for HQ5! You can probably guess where my screen name came from lol.

Should not matter as the CC to start the sequencer es separate from the audio signal completely.

Tempo settings over midi

An alternative may be to slave the Axe to the computer and sync to it's midi clock, there are devices from companies like molten voltage that can convert midi clock to tap tempo.

Axe can not be master for midi clock. If just delays just setting the tempos on axe and mixer may be fine but any sequencer or LFO stuff on axe would likely require midi clock. If you just want to have the mixer change presets along with axe, the easiest would be to set up the axe and mixer in a...

Twin issue?

This topic comes up every few months. It is not easy to get a clean twin sound out of the blackface. The silverface and the bandmaster are better at cleans. Would be nice to get a really good fender clean. Dual showman, musicman hybrid, drz EZG etc.

Exporting IRs as .wav

May be silly question but I grabbed some IRs from my fishman aura and would like to export as .wav. I don't think cablab allows that? Is there anything that can do it?

Cool stuff! Thanks! Have you tried second/different amp on another path? Even same amp, slightly different EQ or IR, takes it up a notch. Since I have been messing with this I have gone off the deep end. Different amps and cabs on each side. Different delays and verbs. Different wahs, phasers...
