one thing i really dislike is...

There are three knobs one for input and two for A/D levels, so what am I missing here? For me if you turn input right down, I have been able to successfully make it sound very weak.. It say's input the other two are AD input as far as I can see, you turn it up too much it makes your guitar / or...

Need some help

Well, I played with it and did a mix with superior which I think really helped.. If anyone can give advice on how to tweak the tone to become a little more Hi-Fi that would be awesome, also what do you think to the superior mix?

Need help with tone

I'm looking for a Lamb of God type of tone, I really like Nolly's LOG style patch for the Ultra but can't seem to re-create it with the Axe 2.. It always seem's a little phasey Any advice? Below is the Nolly tone, hope you don't mind me using it for reference...

Axe-Fx II Firmware 9 Public Beta

I'm loving 9.X, it sounds literally like 7.0 and more natural with no lack of balls.. Really can't go wrong ;) Been in my cave playing with it for a while.. Really good stuff :)

Wow, that is so awesome.. Thanks Cliff.. Between amazing converters, amazing sound and ever evolving software this is by far the best purchase since... Urr, I'm not sure really. Probably the first really great purchase in a very long time.

End of searching, finally!

One other thing I noticed, how damn good the converters are.. I'm seriously thinking about making it my studio centre piece and hooking my lunchbox with API's into it :)

Yeah I tried it, but didn't seem make a big difference. Well I'm going to try 8.0 again tomorrow, I must be missing something.. I do like how natural 8.0 sounds so it's worth trying hard.

I think 7.0 is absolutely amazing, crystal clear, hi-fi, open and very ballsy. Seriously never heard anything better, then I spent a fair amount of time listening to recordings comparing 8.01a to 7.0 I find it more natural but slightly more phasey, less clear and lacking bass. I have a 7 string...
