What doesn't the Axe Fx do effect wise

This! Even just one dynamic band would be very useful. I use dynamic EQ plugins for acoustics, electrics and bass all the time in DAWs.

18.07 seems to have quite a bit more bass and gain?

I think those settings are spot on for real amps of that style. Particularly, the bass control in Marshall tone stacks has most of the action between 8 and 10 o'clock. There is nothing "neutral" in the all controls at noon setting in most guitar amp tone stacks so just forget that and set...

Suggestions on what you've done to enjoy 18.03

I agree. Going over the I/O settings is not a big deal. However, it would be nice to have a way to export/import the two "big list" settings: custom scales and the MIDI CC assignments list. It would be great if Fractal-Bot or Axe-Edit could backup and restore those separately.
