I was also an R/C airplane helicopter guy but had a kid and the wife wasn't as understanding about me being gone all day flying planes. Sold the R/C gear to buy my guitar rig and never looked back for than 2-3 times.

**GOOD DEAL** Beyerdynamic DT 880 PRO 250OHMS

I looked for a long time for a new pair of cans and I finally decided on the DT 880 PROs so for anyone interested in purchasing a pair, I ended up paying $190 for a pair which is about $90 off of the list price. Guitar Center price matches plus 10% and as of 12/26/13 B&H (an on-line retailer)...

Is there some sort of underground patch file sharing going on for these songs? Seems like a lot of us play the same material but guard the patches like a secret recipe. I learn a lot from seeing how others set up their patches. I often think about going back to an amp and pedal board just for...

Anyone using the Axe in church worship?

**Update** At the root of my problem was the IR's. I downloaded OwnHammer's IR's this afternoon and I was blown away by the AC-30 TB. THIS is where I would recommend someone starting with similar issues. Drive pedals still sound terrible but one step and at time. :)

Anyone using the Axe in church worship?

I will give it a shot. Maybe my issue isn't with the amp itself but with the drive pedal. I have tried most of them but ended up with the Full OD. I will attach the preset I'm using if I can figure out how. I appreciate the help!

Looks like I settle with the 2x12 Class-A 30watt Silver mix micd with R121 RIB and another 2x12 Class-A 30watt Blue mix with the same mic.

Do you guys have "go to" amp and cab sims to start a patch with? I really like the AC30 but honestly there are way to many parameters to mess with and I never really get anything I am totally happy with. Any amps/cab you recommend that sound great with little adjustment? I didn't have much...

Hey Guys, I'm hoping for some advice on learning how to solo. I know some of the basic shapes but I have been reading about not getting locked in to the pentatonic scale. I'm a visual learner so being able to watch someone teach soloing as oppose to reading it would be ideal. Any good videos...
