Welcome aboard! I don't think you'll be disappointed with the FM3! It's a fantastic unit! So powerful for its size!. Check out any videos with Cooper Carter, Leon Todd, Marco Fanton and also Jon Cordy .Either their own YT channels or G66 which usually have videos from quite a few Fractal users...

Isn't there a small switch inside the pedal to change the polarity in order for it to function as an expression pedal?

Well I opened it up and I'm not really sure what happened it just started working! One of the ribbon cables couldn't have been seated correctly. Thanks for your help chaps!

I think you guys might be right because even though it's powered up the Axe and FM3 aren't showing any FC's connected!

Could be I suppose! I could have a look. I haven't contacted the seller yet but he did have a pic on his listing showing it was working. Two of the XLR cables are G66 ones and the other one is one I had made up a while ago with Neutrik ends.

He didn't no! and he showed a pic of it working on his listing. Very strange! never had an issue like this before on other FC's when I owned them.

Hi guys, Happy new year to you all! I need a bit of help. I managed to snagged a used FC6 MKII off of Ebay over the holidays, it arrived today and I'm having an issue plugging in to either my Axe 3 or my FM3. When I plug in an XLR cable the FC6 powers on but gets stuck on the boot screen...

All good here! Updated my M3 MBP and my Mac Studio M1. Axe Edit and FM3 edit both work with no issues!

Anyone tried a Boss XS-1 for drop tune?

I didn't notice any warbling myself! It just sounded a bit unnatural to me and didn't really sound any better compared to the FM3 or Axe. I was using it with my JP2C head and cab and I have some external pedals going in the front end and in the FX Loop with an RJM MEGX. My FM3 is in 4cm well...

I'd have to agree! I wasn't really liking it for the same reasons, I can just as easily use the VC in the FM3 or my Axe. I ended up returning mine in the end!

I've owned one for a couple of weeks now and to be honest I don't really hear much difference between it and the Virtual Capo in the FM3. I think I might be tempted to sell it on and just stick with the virtual capo for now. I don't really need it! Slightly quicker tracking in the XS-1...
