What things can an AFX do that a real amp cant?

There's tonnes of things it can do that and amp can't . But I sold my XL and went back to my recto and pedals and never regretted it . The Fractal is a great piece of gear. I found I just prefer some limitations or I just tinker endlessly.

the axe fx hardware isn't alien tech,no matter what anyone says . fractal could release a plug in version.sure they already have 1 at least in alpha stage problem with launching a software platform is the amount of support you need to provide. piracy is a thing of course but many companies...

Cracking the fuzz factory

sounds cool . I have a older fuzz factory form when there was no power jack and they were all hand painted thing about it is a fuzz factory doesn't sound like the same fuzz factory from day to day .its the most fineky pedal I own. it almost plays you

Cliff, Get rid of the older firmware modeling options to free up space!!

what makes it hard for Fractal is Cliff has been continuing to develop the product while it has been out. He isn't just fixing bugs and tweaking like most companies. .Many firmware's down the road and resources that were plentiful early on are now dried up . the box is a completely different...

FWIW modelling has many advantages but there is 1 major downside. one day your beast of a unit will no longer be able to support the latest and greatest. it is bad business to cut features from the current model to prolong the life of an old unit . I know it sucks but its the way it is .

V-Picks, Question About Chirping

I love the feel of the vpick screamer , but I got sick of the chirping too tried a bunch and they all do it. the unbuffed ones do it less, they more make a scratchy sound instead

Matrix GT1000FX 2 Different versions?

I just sold my stuff but i had the 1u fan is about as loud as a computer fan . you would have to be recording some real quiet vocals in a very small room for it to be a problem
