Who else is upgrading to Axe-FX III TURBO? :-)

Mine appears to look like a MKII. I racked it so can't check the back and am not sure if there is an indicator in an info screen. I do recall wondering if I were to sell it how can I show it is a Turbo. It was not obvious to me. I also wondered since I ordered right when it was announced maybe...

Who else is upgrading to Axe-FX III TURBO? :-)

I got my Turbo last Friday. I am still confused... I am unable to shred 25% faster. Otherwise it is as great as my MK1 with those nice additions. Fyi the purpose for my upgrading is for recording and to see if the subtle AITR can be sensed in the mixes.

Sweeping inputs with expression pedal

This is great. I am not at my rig at the moment... I take it I can assign my expression pedal to the mixer block? I haven't used the mixer block before. Fun time tonight. Thanks for both replies!

Sweeping inputs with expression pedal

When you have a patch with two inputs how/where can the expression pedal be assigned to blend and sweep between them? I was looking at the Petrucci patch and wondered how you can go from mag pickups to piezo using the pedal.

Re-amping without using III as audio interface?

If I use the ASIO drivers for my existing audio interface will I still be able to leverage the extra I/O of the III to re-amp in the same manner as if the III was my audio interface? I guess what I am asking is will my DAW see all the I/O of the III via USB without using the Fractal ASIO...

Accessing Bank D on the XL with MFC-101 MK1

I got a second note from fractal support that clarifies the matter: "To be clear, an update will be forthcoming that makes access Bank D on the Axe-fx II XL possible, but the MFC-101 can only have 384 presets which equates to three banks on the Axe-fx." So we will be able to control bank D...

I confirmed with Fractal support that the MFC Mach III cannot be upgraded via firmware to recognize the extra bank on the XL.

FASLINK Adapters? (XLR to Ethercon)

Can someone clarify- Do you still need to buy the FASlink component discussed in this thread if you have an XL and MFC MIII? Or can you just plug any ol' xlr cable into the built-in jacks of each device?
