I just tried this and got a really great alternative/rock tone (depending on how high you raise the gain on the friedman). Throw on a delay and verb, t808 boosting the friedman and the rock gods will worship you. The Jazz 120 seems to sit underneath and add some clarity to your tone, letting...

I wish I could but it seems like it's not under my control. The interference is still there with everything in my room unplugged and turned off. Even the radiator... Must be something upstairs, in an adjacent room, alien ufos, whatever.

I think the Hook models aren't talked about nearly enough. They really got that blues->rock thing going really good. I've used them while toying around with AC/DC, Eric Clapton, even 80's hair metal. They're like a Marshall but totally not haha
