Getting Sound More Upfront

How do you recommend setting the Proximity effect up? It is currently off. FYI, I don't use reverb..only delay on solos. The main signal path is just amp into cab and the cab has filters at 120hz and 6000hz. But for some reason I have never messed with the proximity effect.

New Fractal IRs

Guys, I have updated to FW 18.12 but the number installed Fractal Cabs still only goes to 132...am I missing something? How do I get the other cabs that have been included/provided by Fractal?

Low/Medium Gain Live Sounds

I'm kind of embarrassed right now. Made some small changes to my tones last night to account for some of the advice I read here. When I went to my gig, I checked the EQ on the board that we use and what did I find? Substantial dips in the low mid and mid range....no idea why they were there but...

Cab/Patch Help - Looking for Meaty Sound

How many cabs are you using?

Two custom blends which are just a variant on each other. One is a Scumback H75 with R121 mixed with an Alnico Blue with R121. The other is Scumback H75 with R121 mixed with Alnico Silver with 57. Between those two, I get what I need and its easier to manage. Their Ultra Res too.

Love FW15 however I am getting a really noticeable popping sound when switching from a Brit 800 amp to another. Also, I gigged with FW15 on Sunday and I found the scene switching really slow...serious delays for me.

FW 14.02 Bug

Just thought I'd post a bug. I have a patch with an 800, Splawn and Euro Red…there is popping in between scenes when bouncing between these amps. Not sure why.
