    I don't do anything special when recording with reaper... new track, arm, go. I usually go axe-fx -> interface because on reasons - except when I want a dry signal recorded along with the processed, then it's axe-fx through usb.

    This has been discussed many times already. Replacing the ribbon cable doesn't always help, if this is the case just contact support or your dealer.

    I agree. I tend to make the guitars too boomy with too little top end... but this time I might have gone too far the other direction. Also I'm not very happy with how the bass feels like it sits too much in the middle. I want to spread it out a little.
