    Solved. Thx Fractal Support and user community. Pressed recall button while booting, then Store button, then restored Bank to overwrite the culprit preset.

    tried holding recall while booting, gets me past the locked up LEDs etc , takes me to a preset briefly, then blanks out.

    same exact thing on 11.02 update. Happened after playing around for an hour, sudden comm fail , all LED lights on.

    What MFC lay-outs and settings are people using to control Scenes?

    Does anyone know if this will exist? (Scene UP / Scene Down)- I'd like to use a simple expression pedal to toggle through scenes.

    I spent a month fighting for decent tone, and finally realized I had the global gain down to avoid clipping on lots of presets. When I leveled it out, it was day and night better.

    check your I/O & global levels: Make sure Global EQ is even, check Input level (Instrument in etc),

    Selecting a Scene w/o MFC-101 (Scene Increase)

    I have an expression Pedal. In the I/O settings | PEDAL tab, there's a Preset Increase setting. If there was a "Scene Increase" setting, couldn't this be easily accomplished? I love the scene concept, but what's the simplest way to change scenes with a foot?

    Crackling sound in the outputs

    If not clipping, then you are using maximum CPU usage. I've had this happen, and removing a block or setting it up more efficiently takes care of it.

    0-20. Acoustic 21-40 alt/90s 41-60. Metallica 61-80 70s / 80s 128-256 Default amps and tweaked amps 257- experimental/ambience My default amp models all start with * in the name so i can sort quickly. I start with these base amp models and save them to the other slots.
