III secret sauce

That “definition” Control should not be new IMO, maybe the placement. I used it a lot with the II for my darker guitars.

Is a power conditioner really necessary with axfx?

My Furman kills the noises, which is really cool, and the lights are really handy too. I don’t hear my freezer anymore in my playing :D It has separated sockets which allows it to turn on or off my Active FRFR and the axe fx separately, so it’s absolutely noiseless, no pop no nothing. Love it

XL+ Becoming Obsolete?

But, do You guys remember, oh no the axe fx III won’t come in the near future, and we have enough DSP... and so on? I agree my XL sounds great, but that just won’t stop me to gassing for the III, maybe just because it exists. And my XL will lose it’s resale price (upgraded from a mark I), oh...

Wow, Simeon! I am amazed! That was so great to listening to! Really nice and tasty playing! Finally some real music, without any forced superguitarheroish sh.t. This is a grown up production. I was really bored because of the daily shit vids from everywhere, that was a fresh breath to me.

Maybe, or probably you are right. I thought if the scene controllers can make it, than it would not be a problem for the x,y. An already saved preset could keep that info what You are referred to? I'm not a programmer, don't know nothing about it, just thinking. :)

But x,y switching could be better, expecially when i use the same amp block with a little more drive and treble for example, should not load the whole amp block again and again. Your take... ;)

Weird high end noise

Not just your strings resonate longer between the nut and the tuners? Same thing but with the bridge, or have you got a trem, if so, then it could be the springs of the trem. I guess You just hear everything cleaner than ever. Just my 2.- HuF :)
