Wish More Boost types @ "Amp - Preamp - Input Boost"

If you are ever using the neutral boost and don't need to switch it on/off, I would just use the input trim. Saves a bit of CPU. (Random tip, I know).

Correctly. You can make your own inside the amp block. Use the input EQ to set the flavour, and then the amount with input trim. Granted, you can't turn it off via midi, but it's a useful feature nonetheless. Sorta. It's just the frequency curve. It doesn't take into account that some pedals...

Did anything actually happen when you used external 1?

Weird, must be some kinda bug. I mean, it's a modifier that's not connected to anything. I've updated the OP.

No there is not. It's something on your end, not with the block 😉

Wish Explanation of the differences between the controls of the real amps and their modeled counterparts

Yeah, but from what I recall, the tapers are quite bad on the amps. That's also the reason for not doing a 1 to 1 on the amp models. Nothing happens in the middle, and then there's a huge jump when nearing the top or bottom on the amp sliders. The master volume tapers are for the most part...

Wish Explanation of the differences between the controls of the real amps and their modeled counterparts

The wiki doesn't always remove old quotes, even when they don't apply anymore. There's a lot of stuff on there that's inaccurate. The mark EQ sliders are one of the few things that have different tapers.

Not true. Most of all amps and knobs work as the real amp. The wiki is run by users, and might not be accurate or up to date.

Madonna - Like A Prayer - guitar sound?

Yeah, that's a DI or the clean channel of a preamp with no power amp or cab.

    Modern Guitars, Then and Now.

Jazz musicians are usually the most conservative people you can find, genre-wise. Even metalheads are more eclectic.

There is no such pedal. Did you mean Captain Coconut? Quite rare 3 in 1 pedal. I think when doing distortion or fuzz pedals, you really need to have the pedal in person. Modulation and delay are another story, those can be measured (especially pitch, chorus and delay). Flangers and phasers are...

The H949 didn't offer modulation on the micropitch, did it? And I phrased it like a question because I can't find any mention of it in the manual, or online. I'm of course open to being proved wrong. Some of the press material mentions sideband modulation, but that's a different thing that...

So what's the deal with 24 fret guitars

That's because we wouldn't touch an SG with a 10 foot pole.
