No FRFR at gigs?

I use IEM's and go to FOH and the stage monitors. I have my signal in my stage monitor cranked a little hotter and I have nice feed back.

In-ear-monitoring sounds totally different, help

I have the same issue but was able to get it more tolerable by running FOH on Out 1 and IEM's on Out 2 and used the global eq on out 2 to get it some what decent. No where near what the FOH sounds like. I will admit my Wireless is a budget model (Audio 2000) but my in ears are Shure 535's and...

Are side stepping to engage the Talk Box or what? The only room on my board for my talk box is in the same place as you and side stepping it sucks. Great idea on the power cables.

Presets for live gig - how best to manage?

I'm in the same boat. I use 4 presets (light gain for classic rock, heavy gain for heavy songs, clean classic fender tone and an acoustic simulator) with an external pedal to engage more gain on the first 2. All have 2 scenes, reverb and delay. 2nd scenes are setup for lead boost and longer...

Help with Friedman ASM

I have several guitars I tested with, a superstrat with S/D Hot/Vintage/Cool Rails, Soloist with EMG 81/SA and a Gibson RD Artist with S/D Slash setup. It is just a very odd thing. I keep thinking maybe the AX8 has an issue but my presets I built are killer through the ASM-12 and FOH. Dunno...

I have not found a preset yet that I didn't have to tweak quite a bit, factory or purchased presets. They all sound like they have a blanket over them sucking up all the AX8 goodness. No matter where I tweaked I could not find the magic knob/setting to completely clear it up to sound like it was...

What wireless unit are you running with the AX8?

I swore I would never run wireless. They all seemed to suck tone, but I got a killer deal on a Line6 G30 and thought what the heck. Our singer uses the G10 and loves it, so I gave it a shot and it works very nicely. Also love the fact the transmitter uses standard cables. I keep a box of...
