Is the Mk I now a little outdated?

Outdated!! What is the about? An old OS that becomes incompatible or a freaking tone machine that stands the test of time!! I still know guys using the ultra and sounds great if used correctly.

Have you ever thought you want the convience of SS but love what tubes do for your tone? If I could have best of both worlds with a matrix and a fryette. Would I Gt1000 and LX2 get me there? Would a mesa 290 be another option that would be worth adding to the two above? I have an affinity...

Post Your Axe-Fx III Rigs Here!

I have been running my III into the Riv's clean channel. It gives me a great eq to work with and channel works well since it is so transparent. Recently I have found my carvin dcm3800 works well into a cab with the right eq and low pass filter. I'll be switching soon and be tube free.

No. Bought more actually. I find the combination of the fractal and tubes to morph to anything I need. Full custom and on demand. With a push of a button. I got it all. Get a lot of compliments too.
