Reamping with Logic

I am working on Reaper not Logic, but the steps should be similar. You have to record a DI track. So with the AXE set as your ASIO audio device, record your track. I record one wet track using output 1 and then I record one dry (DI) track from output 3 simultaneously. Outputs 3/4 will bypass...

Ares 2.0 verdict?

Reading through the comments in the firmware release left me guessing what the overall opinions were. I’m sure there are differences of opinion, but I was curious whether folks are using 2.0 or not? Thanks in advance for participating!

Axe-Fx II "Quantum" Rev 8.01 Firmware Release & New Bank A Presets

installed 8.01 and the new presets. Sound amazing. When the presets got done loading I had my bass plugged in to the axe. it came up on the bassman patch and sounded glorious! One of the amps that jumped out at me was the Maz38. The response is incredible. I also tried it through my studio...

Anyone have experience with K and K pick ups with the AxeFX?

Like the title suggests, I am considering buying an acoustic with a K&K pickup. Would love to hear if anyone currently uses this with the Axe and how you like it. Thanks!

So I didn't get in on 7.01, but loaded up 7.02 today and was blown away. I know the term is over used, but so many of the amps are so organic. Love it!

Just tried this and oh my god! With a strat it was a religious experience! Thank you so much for posting this. The only thing I changed was added the boost switch and bam just awesome! Such an expressive amp!!

Studio Monitor Frustration!

At the risk of being somewhat controversial, instead of monitors, maybe think about a pair of Focal Monitoring headphones. They're pretty pricey, but they are really outstanding and very flat. This takes the room out of your mixes and if you subscribe to the left, right and center panning...

Played my AxeFX through a real cab for the first time yesterday...

I use a Fender mustang iii amp and definitely prefer it with cab sims on! Just sounds more better!
