I have no idea because the screen has gone on my Axe FX2 and there is no way to use the I/O menu or anything else that can only be done on the front panel. To make it worse, it seems that replacement parts aren't even available. Now that fucking sucks.

I have been recording using the S/PDIF outs on my Axe Fx 2 into my Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 (2nd gen) audio interface and I've been noticing clicks and pops in the recorded audio. At first I thought there may have been a buffer size issue in my DAW (Studio One) but no matter what settings I chose...

Abelton Users... Midi question

Well I guess I could just an extra long USB cable so as to avoid having to add a midi interface but it will have to be at least 7m long which is the length of my cable loom. Not having mucvh luck finding a 7-8m (22-26ft) USB cable.

Again of course.... I'm aware of this. You could have a different mode in the Cab block that applies the rotary effect doppler etc to the two selected IRs. I don't see how that would be impossible. Some people only see hurdles..... Do I suspect that it's going to be implemented? No... I don't...

Yes, and we have stereo cabs. Shoot an IR for the horn and another for the drum. Problem solved.

Abelton Users... Midi question

Ok well how would I get the Din cables into the Laptop? Currently I am running one midi cable between the RJM and the Axe FX and then another from the Axe Fx to another external effects loop switcher. Happy for any suggestions mate.

Of course I get all that, but I'm just saying that you'd have a better chance of getting a more authentic tone of a real Leslie cabinet by at least using an IR from an actual Leslie cabinet instead of applying rotary simulation to any other random Cab IR.

I don't know how anyone got the idea that I was suggesting to shoot an IR of a moving speaker. 🤔 I was suggesting shooting some IRs of a rotary cabinet (Horn & Drum) whilst the cabinet is stationary. Once you have a good IR of the stationary speakers you can then apply the appropriate doppler...

Easy.... Select a Null cab so you are not using an IR if you are just wanting to use the doppler shifting of the rotary block. Just the same is if you want to use a Leslie IR or any other IR. You select which one you want to use or simply select a Null cab if you don't want to use one. Simple...
