    Molded rack

I just moved my Axe II into this exact rack (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002NQQDK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) from a 4U rack, so I could add room for a Vafam panel, since I gig with my rig. It fits just fine. Mounting screws were a little tough to get in on the left rack...

Configuring my AXE 2XL for LIVE use

I merely play club gigs and the FOH guy we hire runs EAW speakers, QSC power and a Yamaha LS9 digital console. My Axe2 rig sounds fantastic through his gear. Who's running a $300 PA system?

Why I love my axe fx II

bdrepko ... I forgot to mention that I also use in-ears for monitoring the full band, the CLR in my case is just for some extra reinforcement. However, with it's dual inputs, I imagine you could just as easily send that monitor signal through it as well. I played a show last night with the CLR...

Funny Story - Wisconsin State Fair

Love to hear this, as well. I run the same way, no cabinet, everything is through my band's in-ear rig. I set up presets through an FRFR cab at home (Atomic Reactor) and also bring it to the shows, just in case. All the times I've run into one of my guitar-playing buddies, they say "sounds...

Who has " sold it all" and gone AXE FX??????

Sold my Mesa Roadster head, 2 X 12 recto cab, T.C. G-System and a bunch of pedals when I got my Ultra, and now I have the II ... I've been happy with the decision ever since.

What has the axe brought to your rig, convience and (or) creative options?

For me, it's all of the above. It's convenient to walk into rehearsal or a gig with my guitars and a four-space rack, packing every tone I could want and way more. Then smile as people ask me where my amp is and where all that sound is coming from! Having a stellar recording option is icing on...

Ready to Take Axe-Fx II out of my house! Need Expression Pedals and Pedal Board

That looks nice, my Gator has a bit too much extra room. Might look into the Diago and sell my Gator board.

Ready to Take Axe-Fx II out of my house! Need Expression Pedals and Pedal Board

I'm a big fan of the Mission Engineering pedals, which I use for expression. I use a larger Gator Pedal tote for a pedal board, with my MFC and mission pedals velcro'd down. Works fine. I've seen the Pedal Train used as well. Enjoy!
