Be interested in your thoughts - which version did you upgrade from?

The Stem Separator and Omnivocal as built-ins seem very interesting but as a C13 user, my process pretty much just revolves around EZBass, EZKeys, EZDrums and a guitar audio track via my Axe. Cubase seems to be veering more and more towards dance/electronic kind of things.

I upgraded from version 14.

I might use the stem separator, but have other software that can do that. I haven't looked into what Omnivocal does, I'll have to do that.

I'm mostly using the DAW as a multitrack recorder for guitars, bass, vox, and SD3 for drums. So, a lot, probably most, of Cybase's capability isn't used by me.

Though I am still busy with learning Falcon I couldn't resist to buy Sines. I guess that everything Sines can could also be done with Falcon, but the concept and UI are so straightforward and self-explanatory, that I can play around without looking into a manual.
The sounds of the presets are mainly 80s and 90s territory, but sometimes I excactly want and need this.

Just out of curiosity, what are some examples of more modern sounding synth plugins in your opinion?

I agree, the 3 pack over at Thomann Music is a better deal than any deal put out by Toontrack.

Also, because of this I have completely moved on from toontrack. There are many smaller companies that have mix ready drums that are better in my humble opinion. ML Drums are great for example and priced fairly. He currently has a sale on for 50% off and there is a video i watched earlier where he gives a code for an additional 25% off. GGD is another one but I have yet to try their products. Toontrack songwriting features are great so I still use it for that but I don't use it for drum samples anymore. This is just my personal experience and decision based on other things i'd rather spend my hard earned cash on.
