Mine is really simple. Guitar -> VP4 with EV-1 -> FM3 -> FRFR.
I use the VP4 for wah, drive, pitch tuning and the 4th block am still free for play.

Are you using SPDIF to connect the FM9 and VP4?
That's a powerful setup you've got there.

No but I am curious about doing that and how.

If I take spdif in/out from fm9 to in/out on vp4, and then take the outputs on vp4 and put them into IN 2 L&R, would that work?

Mine is pretty simple - mounted on a temple board 4CM to an original Mesa Mark IIC+. Red switch is for the channel switching. Couldn't be happier

Two Walrus Audio CANVAS POWER HP units are installed to provide power.
Each CANVAS POWER HP can supply 3A, so one is installed for the VP4 and the other for the H90.

I use it to keep mij spare strings, patch cables, picks etc.

The VP4 triggers an EM Custom Relays Switcher via Midi for Amp channel switching. At the same time i am able to activate or deactivate Analog Pedals via the Morningstar Switcher. After the Boosts/Overdrives i have an Lichtlärm Noise Gate added. The Noise Gate give me the chance to control hizz from the Analog Path before i get in the input from the VP4. The VP4 works like a charm in customizing presets to my personal taste with Midi. Just add the right PC and Midi channel numbers on your scene and you are rdy to go.
I have added 2 Line Isolators from Lehle and use it in the Input and the FX Send. Very handy is the USB Adapter for an easy connection to my Macbook. I run the VP4 in 4CM Method into an Mesa Boogie Badlander 100W with Mr.Scary Mod. Right now i configure the board and add some presets to control my other 2 Amps (Mesa Rectifier Rev F and an ENGL Extreme Agression).The VP4 is an absolute win in my actual setup!!
