Worth upgrading?

From a Carvin DCM600 to a Matrix GT800 or 1000?
I'm running through a 1x12 w. EV12L.

If you get the 2U unit, maybe not half the size, but half the NOIZE... of the 1U unit. Mine is on it's waty right now!

The 2u is indeed quiet. I had to put my hand up against it to tell if it was running.

Also, on my scale the 2u weighs 10 lbs and is abouit 8" deep. So it's not a boat anchor by any means.
