So ya, I need some help and advice, if you don't mind.

What's the shortest, least deep, most shallow, whatever, tube-powered power amp??? AND, what's a good shallow poweramp (1u or 2u high, preferably).

Thanks!!!

The Peavey Classic 50/50 is a fairly shallow 2u tube power amp, and not too heavy for a tube amp. I was considering it, but opted for the Crown XTi 1000, it's 2u and 17 lbs. Advantages to me are, for an AFX rig it has built-in DSP with a USB interface. I can set up and store different EQ's for guitar cabs, and for FRFR passive rigs. Or it can be a bi-amped bass rig, or general PA use with crossover function in the DSP.

How's the Carvin TS100 stack up for use with the Axe-FX?

My mesa 20/20 which is one rack space is about 11 inches deep from the front rail. I had a old 50/50 but sold it and it was either the same or shorter I think.
