got my II ( 5.02 ) installed the drivers, install ax edit.. everything was hunky dorey
...Ax Edit was working perfectly with it.... was going thru the presets using Ax EDIT and all of sudden
everything froze on a preset..now ax edit won't connect or even open up...

managed to get the Ax fX running again..it froze on the preset also (value knob was doing nothing )
but it running now that i shut it off and on and disconnected the USB to the PC
 
Axe-Edit in current release does not support 5.02 as far as I know. 5.02 isn't even in release (and may never be... things are moving...)

Yes, but something beyond fw5.02 should be coming/expected soon, and AE will support it. For now.. I'd either back down to fw5.01 or tweak/explore from the front panel only.

first 10k takes it!!! :lol

kidding aside... it does say firmware 5.02

Would love to see a Photo of the screen showing 5.02?? Not calling you a liar, just very curious on how you got it?? R-U-A Beta user??
 
It actually happens quite often ..., the newest machines always seem to go out w/ the very latest firmware ( yes, even if it doesnt' always go into production ).
